How Romantic Are You? Take the Romance Test to Find Out!

Romance is the main ingredient that makes relationships work. Love between two people cannot be established to the fullest without romance, and through romance lovers get to express their deepest feelings for each other.

Romance is best displayed through words, actions and thoughts, but there really are some people who find it difficult to express their feelings to their partner with full sincerity. Other couples meanwhile complain for their partners not being romantic, not realizing that they are the ones who cannot feel the romance. The absence or lack of romantic flavor usually causes problems in any relationship, and despite the presence of love, without the passion and romance, things still have the high risk to end abruptly.

So, if you think you are not that romantic enough, it’s time for you to take a love romance test, to see whether your romance and passion levels are just normal, or if you have to undergo lessons about love and passion in order to maintain a healthy relationship that’s full of both life and love.

Here are some of the questions you may encounter in a love romance test:

  • Where do you take your partner when you go out on a date?
  • What is the sweetest thing that you gave your partner?
  • Do you remember dates and special occasions that involve you and your partner?
  • What’s your idea of a romantic day together?
  • What song best describes your feelings for your partner?

Take note that most of the questions that deal with love and romance are quite cheesy. This is because love is cheesy. There’s no room for practicality or logic; rather, what you prioritize is the happiness and content of both your hearts. When answering romance tests, you have to be as honest as possible. Giving off pretentious answers will only disrupt your scores and you will most likely get a bad advice. It’s not really the numerical score that counts when you take a romance quiz, rather, the analysis of our answers, so that you know how to address your romance and passion issues with your partner.

All right, suppose you have answered a romance test. Usually there is a rating for each choice in the questionnaire (most love and romance tests are made in multiple choice formats) and each answer has a corresponding value which you have to calculate to get your analysis.

Let’s say, the highest score is 30. The level of being overly romantic is between 25 and 30; the normal romantic is between 18 and 24, while the not-so-romantic type of person falls 17 and below. Given that you answered this romance test and you got a score of 27-this doesn’t actually mean that you are overly romantic; you may tend to be very expressive of your feelings. Well, for each category there’s a corresponding advice, and that’s what you have to read on. Below are the usual advice and suggestions for each score category in romance test:

  • Super, to the point annoying kind of romantic- do you make it a point to express your love and affection through cheesy things such as a myriad of chocolates, balloons, out-of-timing serenades and other expressions of love you learned from the romantic-comedy films you’ve seen during a movie marathon? If you tend to do this, perhaps now is the time to stop. Romance doesn’t necessarily have to be in material things, or in loud expressions of quotes taken from songs or poems. Romance can be channeled even through the simplest touch, or a silent peck on the cheek. You need not be a megalomaniac just to show your partner your feelings; what’s important is your feelings can be felt to the fullest, by the person you love.
  • The typical romantic- congratulations, you’re normal! But that doesn’t mean that you don’t have to do anything, since you already are romantic. Remember, being normal tends to be boring, and a boring relationship is as bad as a relationship without the romance. Try to break from the rules every once in a while. Come up with surprises-more surprises, actually, so that your partner would feel that you are not taking your relationship for granted.
  • The dry romance- so, you are the not-so-romantic type, huh? Given that you are, the best thing for you to do is take the time off and watch a DVD marathon with all those romantic flicks so that you will know how to spice your relationship the right way. You may not know it but your partner has already grown tired waiting for you to make the first move. It’s never too late to learn how to be mushy. Believe it or not, cheesiness could save relationships!
